Stop for a minute,
Ask yourself, privately, no one is listening, ask yourself, what would God be like if you could imagine the most wonderful God you could think of.
No really I mean it.
Take all the things you have heard about God out of the picture for just a moment. Think of the best most wonderful God you can think of. What would this wonderful God be like?
Would He be loving? Yes, how loving?
Think bigger, think more...
Would He care about you? Yes, how much?
Would He care about all the little details of you life? Yes, how much?
Would He be big enough to care about all the little details of the lives of everyone on the whole earth?
Now what about for all time?
Think bigger, think even more.
Would He be powerful enough to change things, heal you, cause rain, stop time? Would He be so powerful that He could create or destroy all things.
Would His love cause Him to only use that power for good?
Think bigger, much much bigger! 
Would He be so loving that he would give you independence from himself, a freewill, the freedom to chose to know him or not?
Would He be so loving that because he knew the best thing for you was to know his love for you that he would constantly be reaching out in loving ways to you but never ruefully or disrespectful of your choices.
Think bigger, much much much bigger.
A pure selfless loving God.
Would His love be so obvious that all it would take to see it was to stop for a moment and think about it?
If there was such a God wouldn't your own wish and hope that there was tell you so?
Now take that thought and realize if there was such a God and you asked to know Him would He not respond with every effort to fulfill your request.
Think really really big now! 
Why not ask Him?
Yes, right now, why not ask God that if he exists, would He reveal himself to you.
You are thinking really big now!
Yes, you know you are not perfect, but wouldn't this God, this really big, really loving God have found a way to get around that.
Tell him you know you are not perfect but that you want to know him and his love for you.
You need to think really big for this one.
Yes, I mean right now. Take a breath and whisper your prayer, such a God would be listening.
Now, make sure you are watching for his answer. He will answer.
Would not His love be so big that His answer would almost get here before you thought to pray?
Think really really big now! 
But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.” (Mark 10:27 NKJV)
"All things are possible", that is a big God. Jesus told us of a big God one who loved us so much that He would give His own life to have a relationship with us.
Jesus also said,
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3:16 NKJV)
That was really BIG LOVE!
